How to customize Field Values
Many fields in Sumac have options for customizing to suit your organization's needs. When you see drop-down menus, like a list of cities, or as groups of checkboxes, like Contact Types, the values in these fields are often customizable.
You must be a Sumac Administrator to customize Field Values in Sumac.
To add, change or remove field values, go to Utilities > Customize database > Field Values. Choose the Area, then choose the Field you want to customize.
The list of existing field values appears at the bottom. You can click "New" to add a new value, or double-click an existing value to edit it. If you want to delete a field value, select it from the list, then click "Delete."
Field Values are organized by the areas of Sumac. Sometimes the same field may be used in two areas. For example, the list of Account Codes appears under Donations and also under Payments. It is exactly the same list of Accounts, but it is listed in both places for convenience.
