Time Docket field legend

See below for the list of fields available in a Sumac Time Docket record, what that field allows, and any customization options:

Worker - Mandatory, and Renameable

Worker Count - Renameable, and Hideable; used in cases when a group of volunteers (e.g. Boy Scouts) comes in to help out and you need to track how many volunteers were part of this group

Client - Renameable, and Hideable

Department - Renameable; you can customize the values within this drop-down menu. If you are using the Volunteer add-on, Sumac uses the same "Department" field in both areas.

Program - Renameable; you can customize the values within this drop-down menu. If you are using the Volunteer add-on, Sumac uses the same "Program" field in both areas.

Task Type - Not Renameable or Hideable; you can customize the values within this drop-down menu. If you are using the Volunteer add-on, Sumac uses the same "Task Type" field in both areas, as well as the in the Preferred Task Fact (contact record > Facts tab).

Activity Type - Can be made Mandatory; you can customize the values within this drop-down menu. If you are using the Volunteer add-on, Sumac uses the same "Activity Type" field in both areas.

Event - Not Renameable or Hideable; links to an Event in your database

Start Time - Not Renameable or Hideable; holds a time of day (e.g. 3:00 p.m.)

End Time - Not Renameable or Hideable; holds a day of time (e.g. 4:00 p.m.)

Duration - Not Renameable or Hideable; holds an amount of time, automatically calculated based on the start and end time, if they're entered

Start Date - Not Renameable or Hideable; holds a date

End Date - Not Renameable or Hideable; holds a date

Disbursement - Not Renameable or Hideable; this field is used to hold an amount that should be disbursed to a worker, for example, when reimbursing a worker for mileage or some other expense they incurred

Travel Distance - Not Renamable or Hideable; holds the distance traveled

Travel Rate - Not Renameable or Hideable; holds an amount (you can set a default rate for travel)

Travel Total (distance x rate) - Not Renameable or Hideable; calculates the amount for reimbursement (distance x rate)

Travel Reimbursed by - Not Renameable or Hideable; a text field

Notes - Not Renameable or Hideable; a long text field
